This server publishes articles, reports, dissertations and theses from Linköping
University, published in PostScript or
PDF-format. To be able to read them without printing
them out, you can download a reader.
To ensure that the article published is the same one as the
author sent to us for publishing, we have a system with checksums and PGP. The
checksum uses the md5 method and every checksum is signed with our PGP-key.
If you want to validate the article published by us please
read our page Guarantees
of Persistence and the paragraph Procedure for verifying that an
article has not been modified.
Should you still wish additional assurance that the article
has not been tampered with, then please fax a form
to us, requesting that the checksum is sent to you via fax instead. We can not
send you hard-copies of the article.

PDF (Portable Document Format) is a presentation format for documents that preserves their layout in a platform independent way. The program Acrobat Reader is required in order to read a pdf-file. The program is free of charge and can be downloaded from Adobe. Click on the icon below to get Acrobat Reader:
PostScript (PS) is yet another way to represent layout (including fonts) without depending on the viewers platform. To be able to read PS-documents, you need a PS-viewer. There are a couple of them for the different computer systems:
