| Abstract: | This lecture will discuss the importance of context and how seeing any given scientific database in its proper place in time and space makes is more meaningful and intuitive for the audience. As the Earth Sciences are often challenged to stimulate and motivate students, I argue that contextualized visualization is one of the important tools at hand to
