| Abstract: | Since its release in 2006, the award winning documentary film An Inconvenient Truth (AIT) has created a sea change in public awareness of the threat posed by global warming. It is based upon a slide show that former Vice President Al Gore had shown nearly a thousand times. After the film opened, increasing demand for live presentations of the slide show inspired him to found The Climate Project in 2007. I was privileged to become an early member of The Climate Project (www.theclimateproject.org). |
